Carolyn Carter is an artist and illustrator from Berkshire, she also lived and worked in and around the beautiful city of Bath for nearly 20 years, after her Illustration/Design degree at Bath Spa University.  

​

She has worked professionally as in-house artist for 2 greetings card publishers, 'Meri Meri' in Cheltenham and 'Ling Design' in Bath, winning industry awards for her designs for both.

 

Alongside this she has exhibited in group and solo shows of her original paintings as well as showing in Galleries and undertaking many individual commissions.

 

Carolyn works in a wide variety of media, her watercolour and acrylic paintings are rich in colour and light, often inspired by the countryside and wildlife around her. 

 

Her bird artwork celebrates the fascinating character of these beautiful creatures. These paintings have been published on a range of gift and stationery by Portico Designs
